Recommended Computer Requirements

Purchase a computer with the best specifications possible: more memory, a better modem, etc. It is in your best interest to do so. It will make your Internet experience more enjoyable.

Windows/PC System		Macintosh System
Windows '95, '98 or NT Computer Systems Pentium or equivalent CPU at least 100 mhz Monitor capable of running at 640X480 pixels CD-Rom drive 2.5 gb or larger hard drive 32 MB of Ram memory for Win'95 or 64 MB Ram for Win '98 or Win' NT 56k v.90 modem (usually "makes" the Internet) ISP/Online Service Account		Macintosh running at 100 Mhz or an iMac Macintosh monitor capable of running at 800x660 pixels CD-ROM drive 2.5 gb or larger hard drive 32 MB of RAM memory 56k v.90 modem (usually "makes" the Internet) ISP/Online Service Account

Things that make the Internet more enjoyable, but are not required:

• CPU speed at least 200 mhz
• Sound card & speakers
• 32X or faster CDrom drive
• Hi Resolution monitor at least 800X600 in 16 bit (or higher) "true color" mode
• 56k V.90 modem (usually make the Internet connection much faster......less waiting!)
